We are currently recruiting for a seasoned Warehouse Associate to work out of our Exactitude office in Cumberland Foreside, ME.

Exactitude is a major supplier and installer of commercial grade doors and hardware, specialties, access control and video systems, and custom millwork in the Northeast.  The Hardware Consultants division specializes in furnishing and installing commercial and institutional grade wood and hollow metal doors and architectural hardware for buildings and facilities including office, medical, government, multifamily residential, hotel, educational and detention, among others.


Warehouse Associates help ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently.  They complete all tasks assigned by the Operations Manager.  The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have basic computer skills with experience working in a warehouse, pulling inventory for shipments and driving a forklift. 

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Help with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for delivery
  • Recording selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Ensuring correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Work in accordance with all warehouse safety regulations
  • Load finished product onto truck
  • Navigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer orders
  • Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager regarding the warehouse or deliveries

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum education – High School/GED or equivalent experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Forklift certification is a plus
  • Valid driver's license required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Attention to detail and a true desire to excel at warehouse work
  • Sound physical shape and the ability to complete all assigned work efficiently
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Organized and timely with schedules

Physical Demands

Spends more than 2/3 of time standing, kneeling/crouching/stooping, using hands and reaching. Spends approximately 1/3 of time walking and talking/hearing. Frequent lifting required of items 25-50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Work Environment

May be exposed to variable weather conditions. Other conditions may include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware. Worker is subject to frequent heavy lifting.
