We are currently recruiting for an  experienced Project Manager who will be located in Spokane, Washington.

Summary

The Project Manager works closely with General Contractors to stay abreast of needs on each active project. Participates in problem resolution for jobs and takes project from start to finish within company policies and procedures while protecting the company interests and maintaining or increasing profit margins.

Essential Functions

  • Receives telephone calls, emails and other correspondence from customers
  • When necessary prepares submittal package for General Contractor and Architect
  • Tracks outstanding submittals packages
  • Review new plans for changes and provide cost impact to General Contractor
  • Prepares orders and delivers material in accordance with project schedule requirements and monitors production schedules with factories and warehouse
  • Maintain customer relationships and develop new customers
  • Process proper internal and external paperwork in a timely manner
  • Keeps project files orderly and maintains update correspondence in file
  • Provides monthly billing and booking projections
  • Assists in collections when required
  • Assists in the sales effort to close new work
  • Required to maintain a certain sales volume determined by Branch Manager
  • Attends on site meetings as required by General Contractor
  • Participates in physical inventory as required
  • Resolves project issues in a timely manner
  • Assists in development and training of new employees when required
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 year degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 Years on the job training, schooling and/or experience
  • Willing to train at entry level
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent Organizational skills and time management skills required
  • Excellent Communication Skills and attention to details are critical
  • Blue print/plan reading with Specification interpretation required
  • Self-motived and proactive with ability to multi-task
  • Accurate mathematical skills required
  • Position requires minimal travel local and regional, must maintain a valid driver's license and furnish transportation
  • Knowledge of Commercial door and hardware products
