We are the premier provider of architectural hardware, doors, doorframes, and related building specialties for non-residential building applications throughout the US. Our operating units include Cook & Boardman, LLC; Precision Doors & Hardware, LLC; Martin Architectural Products, LLC; Architectural Building Supplies, LLC; Hollow Metal Specialists, LLC; Exactitude, Hardware Consultants; Precision Millwork;  RDL Supply; Delta Door & Hardware; Specialized AP and Pinnacle Door & Hardware. We are currently recruiting for an Accounting Assistant to work out of our Exactitude office in Cumberland Foreside, Maine.


Assists within administrative functions within accounting, collections and any other general admin duty required. Works closely with Office Manager to support general accounting and business functions specifically billing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.  Serves as the backup receptionist.

Essential Functions

  • Gather, distribute and sort A/R and A/P paperwork
  • Prepare A/R paperwork for billing'Sort and match receiving paperwork and invooices
  • Reconcile A/P statements
  • Answers the phones as a backup for the Receptionist as need needed
  • Any other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent years of experience
• 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of general accounting and collections processes
• Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
